If your vehicle breaks down while towing a trailer or caravan, we will recover both the car and the trailer or caravan if the vehicle cannot be repaired at the roadside.
If the fault is with your trailer or caravan, you will be offered the option to pay for it to be recovered.
Caravans and trailers must be fitted with standard 50mm couplings, and the maximum combined length of the vehicle and trailer must not exceed 12.19 metres.
This cover is included as standard with all breakdown cover policies.
