Your bicycle does such a good job of keeping you fit, reducing congestion and safeguarding the environment that it deserves its very own BikeHalo.
BikeHalo uses loops of LED lights to transform your wheels into ethereal discs of light – white for the front and red for the rear.
The wheel lights are waterproof and have a 30-hour battery life before they need recharging via the USB port. The design is unnoticeable during daylight hours, fits almost every type of wheel and requires no tools to fit.
BikeHalo wheel lights cost £39.99 to buy from cyclechic.co.uk, but we have a set to give away.

Environmentally friendly cycle insurance
On the face of it, one cycle insurance policy is much like another, but the devil is the detail. How much excess you will be charged is just one of the things that varies wildly between providers. Another is so called ‘new-for-old’ replacement – many insurers use this term, but if your bicycle is more than a few years old, devalue it severely. This means you are left out of pocket when you come to replace it.
ETA cycle insurance has a low standard excess of 5% (minimum £25) and offers a new-for-old for life – however old the bike, if it’s stolen you get enough to buy a new model.
For 25 years we have been providing straightforward, affordable bicycle insurance. Whether you use your bike to commute, shop, race or amble in the park, ETA Cycle Insurance has you covered. We never devalues bikes no matter their age, allow you to buy your replacement bike wherever you like, replace stolen quick release components and we handle claims in-house. Can your insurance provider say the same?
We have been voted Britain’s most ethical insurer. Furthermore, every cycle insurance policy you buy helps support the work of the ETA Trust, our charity campaigning for a cleaner, safer transport future.

My bike deserves a bike halo because I lavish no care on it whatsoever, it gets me to and from work everyday, and it can’t afford to buy itself some revolights.
John Leggett
My saintly bike deserves a BikeHalo as it always gets me home from work, doesn’t complain about the weather I make it commute in and makes up for my poor cycling form repeatedly – that level of goodness from a bike definitely deserves a Halo!!
Joel
These look wheely good; please can I have some?
Christopher Hickmott-Arnold
My bike deserves a halo because I have one myself. It’s on the helmet I wear.
Ben Pendery
Hello,
My bike deserves a BikeHalo because it will match the Halo I have (Only Joking). I would like a BikeHalo because I love the fact they make you so much more noticeable on the roads. When I’m biking down dark lanes it would really help to make me more noticeable.
Siow chin
My bike, well, actually my husband’s bike deserves a halo as its been a gem, getting him to work and back, even through the winter. He gives it lots of TLC and a halo will make it look even quirkier.
smiff1985
Henrietta deserves a bike halo because not only will she be safer for me to take on my journeys around the British countryside and streets of London but she’ll be looking snazzy at the same time! She doesn’t always get the compliments she deserves and bike halo is just the ticket she needs.
John
i’d like to others to know that i was riding an Angel, of course!
and that, my dears, is why my bike deserves its own halo!

My bike deserves a halo to brighten up the journey home for those commuters stuck on buses or in cars.
Holly
My bike deserves halo lights because it is the reincarnation of Donna Summer and therefore deserves fantastic disco lights of the highest quality to go with the music in its soul.

I used to cycle commute but have become less keen as traffic has risen, and because I’ve been knocked off by buses and taxis, had friends receive life-changing injuries, and friends of friends killed. How much safety is too much? Some measures, like infrastructure, are for government. But everything an individual cyclist can do to get noticed has to be good. A set of BikeHalo lights won’t just make me safer though, it will be an example to other cyclists (who I’d expect to ask ‘where did you get those?’, and think ‘I could put those on my child’s bike’). They should also make drivers coming from all directions more sensitive and vigilant to cyclists – even if it’s because they’re initially stunned into slowing down to avoid what they think is a Blackpool illuminations tram.
Caroline Geraghty
I would love a set of bike halos to help me have a safe journey travelling to work and from everyday. It would make me stand out and make doing my right hand turns with more confidence.
Arun Venkatesan
My road bike deserve its own BikeHalo because I need to very visible to motorists and pedestrians alike while cycling in London at night, which I often do and a normal pair of lights do not always suffice.
Robert Lintner
What a grest idea. Would love to have a BikeHalo for my new bike I’m buliding. My last bike was involved in a meeting with a car. Was 5 feet away, when yhe lady pulled right out on front of me and stoped. Bike and I went up and over the top and landed on the other side. Said she never seen my lights. I believe with s Bike Halo we both would be seen.
L Woodman
I would like a bike halo because motorists might treat me with reverence if I had one
Helen Smith
I would like a halo because I live in Bristol where it drizzles drizzles drizzles. These would make me more visible in the mist!
Colin F
I travel to and from work every week day and could do with a halo to protect myself in this dark damp winter !
Hollie
A really good idea to keep you safe when cycling in the dark. Would make a great Christmas present!
Gavin
An excellent way to be seen sideways on, especially when on roundabouts etc.
Mark B
Never a more deserving bike than mine. I’d love some
Ian Harvey
I would love a set to brighten up my journey to work and put a smile on commuters faces.
Marco Casali
They look great, please can I have some? ; )
Luisa Casali
What a great idea, need to get some for my hubby but would love to win a set …
Ian Nicholson
My bike deserves a halo because it carries me to and from work in Glasgow every day (in the dark at this time of year).
This week I was nearly hit by 2 motorists who didn’t see me in the dark (one pulled pulled out in front of me, the other tried to turn left while overtaking me), even though my bike already has 2 red lights on the back (one steady, one flashing), 2 white ones on the front (steady and flashing again), my fluorescent orange jacket has another red light on it and I have hi-vis reflective strips on my helmet, jacket, trousers and shoes.
I thought I’d run out of places to put lights, bright colours and reflective strips and yet I’m STILL invisible – but now I’ve discovered I can put even more lights on my wheels!
Paul
I’ve seen a couple of bikes with these fitted recently and they look amazing. I have a couple of stretches of unlit road on my commute and my bike deserves these to keep me visible.
Alison Wall
Hello, I’m Jasper, Alison’s bike. We deserve a Halo because I:

My bike deserves a bike halo because my family are so precious to me, and living in a rural area, four miles from the nearest town with no street lighting, we need a guardian angel to keep us safe from the speeding motorists.
Alastair Seagroatt
Winters in Scotland need cheering up, using these on my town and countryside nighttime rides would give my bike and others a well deserved boost.
Emma Clark
My bike deserves a set of bike halo wheel lights because it does a smashing rendition of Singing in the Rain and these would set it off nicely. 🎩💦🎵🌦☔
Owain
If I sat on you you’d know why my bike deserves a halo!
Kathy Cowbrough
My bike has been keeping me fit with almost daily runs plus 20-30 miles once a week (since I had to give up running). Its a special friend, inspiring others to cycle and the lights would make sure its keeping me safe.
Pete Gateley
These look great, drivers will certainly notice me at night!
Penny Pottinger
Boom – effortless, eco friendly life-saving device. Never mind my bike – I deserve one of these…..
Jerv
My bike is a Genesis which as you know was a book which predated halos. My Genesis is wonderful and has carried me more than 2,000 miles this year… the halo is surely deserved and would be a crowning glory!!
Yonas
Sometimes I forget my lights whole they charge at home and when I finish work I have to ride without lights. I believe the halo would serve me well in this temporary but necessary situation.
Yul Emirali
Great idea especially as you don’t have to remove them when parking and locking your bike as you have to with lights.
JT
Remember those walls I built?
Well, baby they’re tumbling down
And they didn’t even put up a fight
They didn’t even make a sound
I found a way to let you in
But, I never really had a doubt
Standing in the light of your halo
I got my angel now
It’s like I’ve been awakened
Every rule I had you breakin’
It’s the risk that I’m taking
I ain’t never gonna shut you out!
Everywhere I’m looking now
I’m surrounded by your embrace
Baby, I can see your halo
You know you’re my saving grace
You’re everything I need and more
It’s written all over your face
Baby, I can feel your halo
Pray it won’t fade away
I can feel your halo, halo, halo
I can see your halo, halo, halo
I can feel your halo, halo, halo
I can see your halo, halo…
Halo, ooh ooh…
Hit me like a ray of sun
Burning through my darkest night
You’re the only one that I want
Think I’m addicted to your light
I swore I’d never fall again
But this don’t even feel like falling
Gravity can’t forget to pull me back to the ground again
And it’s like I’ve been awakened
Every rule I had you breakin’
It’s the risk that I’m taking
I’m never gonna shut you out!
Everywhere I’m looking now
I’m surrounded by your embrace
Baby, I can see your halo
You know you’re my saving grace
You’re everything I need and more
It’s written all over your face
Baby, I can feel your halo
Pray it won’t fade away
I can feel your halo, halo, halo
I can see your halo, halo, halo
I can feel your halo, halo, halo
I can see your halo, halo…
Halo, ooh ooh…
I can feel your halo, halo, halo
I can see your halo, halo, halo
I can feel your halo, halo, halo
I can see your halo, halo…
Halo, ooh ooh…
Halo, ooh ooh…
Halo, ooh ooh, oh…
Everywhere I’m looking now
I’m surrounded by your embrace
Baby, I can see your halo
You know you’re my saving grace
You’re everything I need and more

Baby, I can feel your halo

I can feel your halo, halo, halo
I can see your halo, halo, halo
I can feel your halo, halo, halo
I can see your halo, halo…
Halo, on my 8-speed Tokyo Bike CS 😀
Peter Clark
My bike deserves a halo because it gets me to work in rain or shine, early start or late home and never really gets a treat (and rarely even a good wash). A chance to give something back!
Wesley Burrage
A halo for my velo would help to make me dayglow.

My bike deserves a BikeHalo
She’s my angel of the road,
She gets me to and from my work,
and carries such a load ,
She takes me on adventures,
To places far and wide,
My bike deserves BikeHalo
She will wear those lights with pride.
Jon Vamplew
Moved and abused my bike has been,
Taken from a locked room with others, its a sin,
The baddy took my frame and the wheeler of another,
I bet he will not go home and tell his mother,
But luck came my way,via PC plod,
They managed to catch the little sod,
My bike is back, looking dull and scrappy,
But guess what would bring it back to be bright & snappy
Bike Halo lights – Ohooo it would be so happy!
Francis Voon
Halo,
My saintly bike deserves it.
Craig S-A
My bike deserves a halo because cycling all year round means you become harder to see in winter and any way of making you visible, especially from the side is more a necessity than a nice to have.
Jill
My bike deserves a halo, because it has got me from A to B for 7 years without me giving it the attention it really deserves. It has stood by me through thick & thin and it is time it is shown some love.
The next Lance
This bike halo will light the way for my guardian angel that protects me when on the road (Am I the only one who sometimes hears an extra hiss of a chain and catches the briefest movement to my right in the corner of my eye, but when I turn and look, no one is there?)
Frank
I’m really a saint by another name…
Andy
My bike deserves a halo because t takes me to some of the most heavenly places (too cheesy?)
Rory Harkins
Because I would look awesome riding about with a set of those on my bike
Peter Shirley
Its a saintly way to travel.
Dick Willis
great idea
Melanie Smith
My trusty bike gets me accross London and back to work every day and deserves a halo for surviving a car turning left straight into us last week! I hope the halo would keep us safe. 😇
Joyce Edmond-Smith
A halo is something I never thought I would have or merit , so one for my lovely bike would be a great Christmas present.
Gavin Quiney
I deserve a bike halo because I have no moral fibre and need something crazy looking but safe to raise my cycling spirits on those days that BBC weather focuses on a risk of sleet and the world coming to a halt in London when we’ve had a couple of weeks of non-news snow in North-West Durham.
I would attach them to my mountain bike to give the sheep on the Weardale ridges something to talk about when they see me crunch past them on the bed of snow that’s concealing the old railway line coast to coast path toward Rookhope where you really are closer to heaven!
Don’t do it for me, do it for the sheep.
Steven
Twinkle twinkle little star…
..my bike’s my star and if a Halo made it twinkle a little more brightly on these dark winter nights, I’d be pleased with that.
And of course it’s nearly Christmas! And what better way to get people smiling at you rather than grumbling and humbugging; these lights look good, keep you safer and are fun!
