Spend enough time barefoot and the soles of your feet will toughen and become accustomed to all manner of terrain. For those of us confined to shoes, there comes an alternative in the form of Nakefit – a self-adhesive protective sole that allows the wearer to experience bare foot walking without any of the disadvantages.
The easily-removable stickers are waterproof and protect against slipping, cuts…and hot sand.
Barefoot running
Barefoot runners land on the middle or front of their foot. Running in padded shoes alters this pattern, making the runner more prone to land heavily on their heel before rolling onto the forefoot.
Humans had been running barefoot comfortably and safely for thousands of years before the advent of trainers. Proponents of barefoot running claim they are far less likely to suffer from injury. In fact, a study in 1991 stated that “wearers of expensive running shoes promoted as having additional features that protect (cushioning or ‘pronation correction’) are injured significantly more frequently than runners wearing inexpensive shoes”.
Win a pair of Nakefit shoe stickers
We have 20 pairs of Nakefit sticker shoes to give away – 10 for men, 10 for women. Leave us a comment at the bottom of the page and let us know where or how you would use your sticker shoes.

Jack Alexander
On holiday in Rhodes I realised how weak my soles are. In the heat and on the pebbled beaches I was incredibly jealous of the people who could take a stroll enjoying nature against their bare skin while I was hopping around like a kangaroo. These seem like a great idea to acclimatise the feet to bare footed walking. I’d love to stroll around the old town of the city in the shoes, getting used to the terrain and be able to relax on the beach the way nature intended it.
Steve Savage
These would be great for walking in my local park especially on a hot day when shoes are just too hot and sweaty.
Graham

John Haywood
I’d love to try them out on the pebbles on Brighton Beach!
Jenny
I would have been a hobbit in another life and always gone barefoot. I try to only wear sandals (no socks) between May and September at least in an attempt to ‘free the toes’. However much I’d like to go barefoot it’s too risky for non hobbit feet! These Nakefit sticker shoes sound ideal to realise a fantasy. I’d use them on holiday and when pottering in my garden. They sound ideal for the beach and also a spot of windsurfing. I’d be absolutely thrilled if I won a pair.
Eoin
I’d wear them after a hot cycle to allow my feet to cool down
Matt Robbins
Being bare foot is the BEST!

Margaret Willmot
Paddling in the chalk streams near where I live is still one of the joys of life, even 60+ years after first experiencing the sensation. It would be great to have that barefoot feel without the cuts and abrasions which come with it!
Sue Bower
What a great idea, always barefoot at home and would be really useful when walking on the beach at South Shields – I have an obsession for walking on sand!
Deb

Dave T
Wow, yes, they look just the thing. I love being barefoot but I do sometimes find it a bit rough on my soles.
Charlotte

Gordon May
Walking around the campsite is always a nuisance when you have to put shoes on and off. This would solve it!
Andrew Smith
I’d use them for country walking and indeed anywhere outside when it’s hot. They are a must-have for dealing with unsightly tan lines on your feet!
Peter Allman
Great for “barefoot” in the garden, walking across the grass and gravel path?
James
I would love tp give them a try better than flip flops
Anthony
I would use them for Yoga outside in the park, we need our proprioceptors in the feet to feedback what is happening between the feet and the ground, (one reason Yoga is done barefoot), Nakefit would still allow that to happen. Not sure I would want to go completely barefoot in some outside spaces.
rob ward
At last something that won’t hurt my bunion!!
Maxime
Wicked ! I always walk barefoot at home. I wouldn’t need to clean the floor that often :p
Rhoda
Perfect for constantly nipping in and out of the garden!
stewart
As i am a very good looking guy naked, these can may well assist my attraction to others.
If sized, size 8 please
Lois Williams
I’d put them on first thing and walk around my garden – then down the street and across the shingle to the sea!
stewart
Would you be wearing anything else?
Dave Mann
I’d walk down our gravel path, get on my bike and cycle to the lumpy bumpy canal towpath where I’d walk to the sandbanks by the river.
My right foot is partially paralysed and over-sensitive, consequently I’m very flat footed on that side and although I love walking barefoot I struggle because it is often painful. I’d love a pair of these.
Jesse Bennett
Barefoot is the way forward. I’d happily go barefoot 24/7 if our streets weren’t so filthy.
David
I don’t know if I’d feel the ground quite so well.
Pam Treadwell
I would wear them everywhere my barefeet take me!!
Max Raymond
These look great. I wonder if I could go surfing with them and not have to worry about sharp stones on the way to the beach.
Anthony Johnson
I’d wear them as much as possible (not at work) especially beach, garden, sauna, camping.
Joel
Great, means even if I don’t vacuum and I can still walk around barefoot! But more seriously I have a problem with my nerve endings meaning shoes are uncomfortable. PS I’m size 12.
Nick Rossell
Great for a rocky beach!
Ant419b
A funny video, but I want some so it must have worked. I want to swim in them too.
Jo Higgs
Perfect! No more having to take my shoes off at customs before getting my flight!
Ron McCraw
The stick on sole opens up huge areas of public park and greenspace, otherwise hazardous due to hidden sharp objects, to everyday running. I’m already a fan of barefoot running and feel the benefits, and this would help me run free more regularly in more places.
John doe
Excellent idea
Andy Cox
What a brainwave!
Gets to the ‘sole’ (sorry) of the problem. Would probably never take them off.
Next phase:- having them grafted on?!
Cathy Anthony
I have to wear shoes on the wards in hospital but as soon as I get back to the office or home shoes are off.
Mark B
I’d love to try these. I think I’d probably put them on the bottom of my feet
Phil
I would wear them on my feet outdoors but I never win
Kelly D
This product is pure genius. I would totally wear this to the beach and for sure replace my water shoes when ever I go snorkeling and cave swimming. They seem perfect for travel. Who wouldn’t want one.
Roger Birchall
I think they would be fantastic for the beach! No more hot sand!
Cheryl
These would be perfect for my children at the waterparks, they always complain that the concrete burns their feet due to standing around all day on hard surfaces.
Mark
What a great idea, I love having my feet out but hate walking with nothing underneath, this is ideal the best of both worlds.
Peter Clark
Great for the beach. Especially Brighton where it’s all pebbles
Vivien Kitteringham
For my daughter to run the Glencoe marathon, probably not the whole 26 miles though, but it would be a good test for them!

Megan
I would use them on the beach as I don’t like the feeling of hot sand and the rocks in the sea
But I’ll would probably use them all of the time for other things
Jim Woodlingfield
Really useful for cycling to the beach, could just pop them in a jersey pocket instead of having to take sandals too!
Paul Seymour
If only reusable and not throw away!
Alan Anderson
I’d wear them to run.
Francis Voon
A bit of protection on the beach wouldn’t go amiss.
Leeanne little
Would be fantastic for someone with FM
Idelet Meijering
Wow the best invention ever, no more shoes…it gives freedom!
Helena jackson
What a great idea! I’d wear these for the school run. Its over an hour’s round trip, twice a day so being comfortable while carrying/ pushing/ running with my little ones is really important – and will ve a conversation starter for sure, helping to sprwad the word aboutthe benefits of being barefoot.
June Doughty
Essential for sole protection when walking barefoot and ideal if foot has injury or pain that won’t tolerate any other footwear. I would say ideal for use in public swimming pools and showers as well. Would love to try Nakefit.
Alfredo lopes
I would like to buy for my parents, how I can do this?

Would be a boon for people with Wart / verucca on their soles.
Would love to gift a few for my sister and buy a few for my wife and father in-law.
Thanks
Scott Curtis
These would be ideal for me – I’m diabetic and have to wear something on my feet at all times. this would give me the freedom I used to have, back. My daughter hates sandals, flip flops AND sand on her feet. These would help give her the freedom to get around without fear of hurting the soles of her feet.
Thanks
Rod
I love getting naked in the hot weather, and these would allow me to get as naked as possible while still protecting my feet.
Sarah Herring
I have 3 kids. The youngest jets out the door any chance she gets. And hates almost any type of shoes. These would be great. Perfect for any terrain. Inside and out.
Benedicte
I need these for my autistic daughter please!
Nicki Sickels
These are an answered need for me. Whenever I take my family swimming I have a hard time enjoying myself. Concrete around pools and in the pool itself is made rough and porous to prevent slipping. I have very sensitive feet, and am constantly taking off and on shoes in and out of the water. I wear water shoes when I can, but many pools do not allow them. If I dont wear something on my feet, by the end of the day my feet are all scraped, and I can barely walk. Many times I have to sit out halfway through the day if we are at a pool that doesnt allow them. I think they would allow these, and actually think places like pools or beach shops would like to be able to sell these. I also hate the water build up in water shoes. This would free my swimming experiences and leave me to enjoy my family, not worrying about my feet all day.
matt p
unreal!
Suzanne M.
I have had foot problems all my life. Shoes do not seem to fit right since I had several foot surgeries. I love to walk barefoot, but cannot due to living in the country. This looks like it could be the answer to my prayers. I would LOVE a pair of these. I could start a foot revolution with my family and friends. Ironically several of my neighbors are Amish and they do not wear shoes during the summer months. Wonder what they would think of these?!
Saige Stenman
I live in Texas, so you can imagine anywhere I go the ground will be pretty hot during the summer, even on the beach sand. I even got horrible blisters on the bottom of my feet from it!
james heywood
These are amazing and i would most definitely use these running as i’m just beging barefoot training for a barefoot half marathon ! these would help so much ! Thanks and wish me luck ETA.
Guy R
looks perfect for the seaside esp for rock-pooling, hot sand, sea-bed
Isabel Giddings
I love going barefoot no matter where and I’m always running outside to fetch things in and getting soaked feet and sometimes socks! I think these would be great for holidays too. I would have the freedom of bare feet without worrying about stepping on gravel or walking precariously on slippery rocks or on hot sand even. Just fab and I’d love to try them.
Johanna Pankratz
I am totally in love with being bare foot, but in summer it’s not always enjoyable. I would love to do my yoga and be in my holidays with sticker shoes, its a great idea!
nikki shaw
hi, I have just had an operation on the sole of my foot to remove melanoma (skin cancer) and these are just what i need to protect the soles of my feet from the sun and water when I go on holiday, as I still cant get my foot wet.
louise tring
I would love to give these a go! Every pair of shoes are giving me blisters at the moment and it’s ruining my enjoyment running. Competing in a triathlon against my family in September- I would use these to beat them!
Abigail Peppiatt
I would love a pair of these I’m doing to Florida and my friend said I would burn my feet in the water parks and suggested these. These are the invention of the year!
Fernando
Quiero sentirme libre.
Kelly owens
These are the best invention I have ever seen for your feet 😊 I would wear these daily for work they will save my feet from everything. …..dirt is the first thing as I am a cleaner for holiday homes in Spain so there are a lot of terraces and pool areas I clean these will save me from slippery accidents especially cleaning showers 😀 it is my dream to own a pair of these 😍😍😍
Jane C
I have bad joint issues from hypermobility and struggle to find shoes that keep my feet stable enough to avoid injury. At the moment I have to choose between snow boots for uneven ground (yes I know it’s summer) and large bulky EVA foam clogs for flat ground. These look like a great alternative to the sandles and look super-light weight – they might be just what I need!
Jennifer Elliott
Hi just love going barefoot in the garden in and around the house. I walk a lot of miles each day I just love walking. What I do not like is sweaty feet and and sweaty shoes. These sole would bring a whole new way of enjoying walking for myself.
Josephine Barton
I’ve been looking for something like this for ages as I have Peripheral Neuropathy and my feet are numb so the little walking I do I have to do bare footed, the rest of the time I’m in a Wheelchair
Martin Jamieson
I would wear them when swimming, but having to walk over stones before getting to deeper water.
Aïda
I am going on a road trip to Sweden and would like to do some running there in the woods. However running shoes take in a lot of space. They would also come in handy for my trip to Australia!
Sören Sjögren
Wher in sweden are you going?
Aoife Randles
I would use it outside to feed my hens and my rabbit and my dogs it would be seriously handy when I get up in the morning and just can’t find my shoes it happens almost every morning I’d love a pair
Sören Sjögren
I like running barefoot and this shoe would help me when i’m running on roads with stones.
Cynthia Nakashima
I need this so much to use at beach
Carole South
My daughter is planning to travel extensively and she is really fussy when it comes to not wearing anything on her feet plus these are a great alternative to the sandles and look super-light weight – they might be just what she needs! I would love to try a pair.
Ev Vogler
Hallo,
Wo kann ich solche Schuhe kaufen?
Liebe grüße
Ev
Karen Hommema
I would love to try these. I’m wondering if they can be made thicker and have some arch support. Shoes suk!!
Agnes
Oh, I like to walk barefoot all the time, I already was barefoot a whole summer several years ago. It was so deliberating. I would wear the nakefit just to go in town or walk in the woods. Love it
Clark
A large group of my friends and i are always walking barefoot now that we are older and not running. We just love the bare freedom of our feet gripping the ground. Sneakers and flip flops do not always cut it and are too confining or even dangerous. We love to walk barefoot everywhere we can but when we walk barefoot in places where we may hurt the bottom of our feet these covers would be a fantastic protection for our soles. It is a real inconvenience to not have barefoot access everywhere. I’ve already improvised foot soles from other adhesive coverings but they either fall off, stick glue to my soles or wear out just when you need them the most. We would love to try your nakefit stick shoes and send you our thoughts & comments
Frank Lee
Has anyone won or received a pair of these yet – I entered last summer…:-)
The ETA
Hello, Frank. We ordered a few pairs as the prize for the competition mentioned above but we haven’t received anything yet…one of the perils of buying through crowdfunding sites
Debra
When I saw your product I was so excited..I have a condition Hallux Valgus…This condition leads to painful motion of the joint or difficulty with footwear. After a few mins of wearing any kind of shoe if my feet are so sore. I have tried surgeries, orthotics …nothing works. I would love to try your product.
Syl.Anne
J’adore marché pied nu, malheureusement à la plage ou dans les douches publics, j’attrape des bobos sous les pieds, avec les semelles Nakefit: Shoes for walking barefoot quelle sensation et protection de
marché sans danger. Bienvenue la liberté.
Diana Simard
You’ve probably heard them all, but my story is this. I’ve been going barefoot for years as a child & teen that lived in Florida. They fact is I still do in the house, I really don’t like stuff incasing my feet. Makes me feel clostrphobic or something. I now live in Maine as an adult, I hate that I need shoes and socks in the winter here. But summers are great. Except theirs a whole lot more rocks here on the ground. I’ve recently been able to go to a therapy place that has a salt, warm water pool. I’m so looking forward to going. They require we wear a water shoes or sandal in the pool area. These would be fantastic! I would sure love too try these on for size.id be happy to share with others while I’m there as well as tell the place about your flats! I’m hoping that you’ll give me this opportunity to try them as well as spread the word about these amazing flats! Thank you ever so much Waiting for your reply.ever so anxiously!
Sincerely, Diana
Riley Morton
I go barefoot literally almost all spring, all summer, and fall until it becomes to cold to wander around shoe less. I love the feel of the terrain on my bare feet, and i even have built up callused feet from years of dance. With Nakefit even walking on blacktop in the middle of the summer would be as nice as walking through the grass. I could wander wherever without the dangers of heat blisters, thorns, rocks, or glass. Nakefits are perfect! Womens 9 1/2- 10
Michelle Schubert
We live in a place where we go to the creek and swim and having something like this would help alot I’d love to try them before buying alot of them.
Wendy Osmond
I have had surgery on my feet and it is now painful for me to walk barefoot – these would allow me to enjoy walking barefoot again on the beach
Jessica
OMG! I would absoulty love these I don’t wear shoes as it is and this would be a life saver for my feet.. I always end up with stained black feet from the pavement and (with rough unattractive feet) these would give me back soft “girl” feet! I love this!!♥️
Diane
I’d love to try a pair on my elderly dog who keeps slipping on our floors, I’d cut them to his paw size. I’ve tried doggy boots but they’re just not fitting him correctly. If they work on my dog, maybe that’s another line you could introduce to sell, I’ll give you my feedback after using. Thanks 🙂
frances binge
I have diabetis and I love waling in bare feet would these be allright
Erica
OMG this is like a dream come true!!! I’m getting married August 11th 2018 and I want to go barefoot soooooo bad!!! Please pick me!!!!
Ian Ford
I love going barefoot when I can, but due to having shoes on most of the day my soles are too soft for my holidays, these would be a great help whilst allowing to be barefoot but still having some protection. Need to try this great idea!
Anuja
Hi
I am a runner but haven’t run barefoot but would like to experience it if that helps in improving my skills
Awaiting to experience nakefit
Thanks
Jenny
I feel that we always buy things we don’t need but want such as shoes, and this isn’t environmentally friendly as we throw out shoes every day. If these were available for purchase this would be world changing and it’s our duty for the next generation to try rid the world of consumerism which eventually ends up in the water polluting our beauty ocean and world
Thanks
Immanuel
I actually walk everywhere barefoot already. Mainly in city streets cause that’s where I live but on grass and mud when I can. Been doing it for almost 6 months now.
Joshua Sackmaster
I go barefoot all the time, but I need extra durability while I am backpacking. I usually just use a full sheet of mole skin to cover the bottom of my feet during long hiking days. I would like to use them during my backpacking trips as a more comfortable and hopefully more durable alternative.
