Many cyclists these days consider a roadside puncture repair a mission impossible, but this formidable-looking cluster of tools from Weldtite includes an inflator head, two CO2 cartridges, two nylon tyre levers and self-adhesive patches to help get the job done quicker than traditional methods.
The inflator is compatible with both Presta and Schrader valves and rubber straps keep everything together in your saddlebag or back pocket.
Most cyclists prefer to carry a spare inner tube rather than try and undertake a repair at the roadside, but the Weldtite Jetvalve Repair Pod includes a strip of self-adhesive patches which are a useful back-up.

ETA insurance for bikes includes Cycle Rescue – our special breakdown service for bikes. If you break down or suffer a puncture on your bike and can’t get moving again, we’ll come and recover you.
Ethical cycle insurance
On the face of it, one cycle insurance policy is much like another, but the devil is the detail. How much excess you will be charged is just one of the things that varies wildly between providers. Another is so called ‘new-for-old’ replacement – many insurers use this term, but if your bicycle is more than a few years old, devalue it severely. This means you are left out of pocket when you come to replace it. Read our insider guide to cycle insurance.
Furthermore, every cycle insurance policy you buy from us helps support the work of the ETA Trust, our charity campaigning for a cleaner, safer transport future.
Little wonder that The Good Shopping Guide rates us as the UK’s most ethical provider.

I never have, nor ever will, use a CO2 cartridge, a far more environmentally less damaging method is the good old hand pump – they last for years and years with no waste. I only have one patch left though, and those ‘feather’ edged type are the best ones to use.
John Reed
Pumcture repair kit? YES PLEASE! I need to replace mine, yes, but also because I love 💘 helping other cyclists who may be stuck with a puncture.
Paul
Four pinch flats in two months i could sure do with this handy bit of kit .

Les Gunbie
Me want please!
Vincent Procter
Oh yes please. I’m sick and tired of dealing with punctures at the side of the road. More than once I’ve been on the verge of activating the ETA get me home only to succeed at the last throw of the dice. This would be of immense help.
Jim Woodlingfield
I do carry two spare tubes – just in case! Now I take the children to school on a Pashley U plus 2 we have four wheels to worry about this would be a great option to get us back on the road quickly.
Wayne Fox
No more let-downs with this repair pod, that’s for sure!
Peter Clark
Would love one of these. I’m so due a puncture or two. Now’s the time to prepare!
Kathy Cowbrough
Good timing, I cycle regulalry but have been thinking I need to be more prepared for a puncture. So should I get a repair kit or a replacemnent tire. So if I won this, my decision would be made
Peter Chisnall
Splendid!
John Mullen
I n the 50s 60s and 70s I had no difficulty repairing my bike or classic car tyres, even fitting new valve stems successfully. Now I find that the patches do not stick permanently despite trying different patches and solutions. Is this due to chemicals being banned in the solutions and/or changes to the composition of the “rubber”?
adrian price
great prize —would love to win this
Malcolm
Not enough to mend a broken heart but a puncture fix will do. You never know when hawthorn induced multiple holes will leap out of the hedge row and attack you!
Doug M
I’ve mended several punctures at the roadside, in my cycle touring days. This kit looks like a welcome upgrade to the traditional version.
Steve Green
As someone who seems to get more than their fair share of punctures, I would say that this would be extremely helpful.
Phil
I never win 🙁
Yousaf Mirza
I am feeling deflated, so this would help me to roll again. 😀

I’d welcome a puncture just to use the kit.
Gavin
‘Many cyclists these days consider a roadside puncture repair a mission impossible…’
Is it any wonder when the look of the gizmo shown, to fix a puncture, wouldn’t look out of place on the NASA Mars 2020 Mission Perseverance Rover?
Jesus, Mary and Joseph how hard is it? Glue, patch, abrasion paper, chalk – and some tyre levers.
Aye, aye
Gavin.
Peter Soper
Gavin, don’t forget the pump!
Mark B
This would be great.
Gillian
Nice kit. Thanks eta.
Sue
Wow, yes please, that beats my current kit hands down!
Stephen Sampson
Love the cycling stuff you find. Always an interesting read. Keep up the good work!
David Mayers
Yes please, a Weldtite repair pod would be great. Repair is much better than replacing with a brand new tube
Frank
this could stop me from blowing in the wind…
Fred
Pump me up!
Bill
Punctures invariably seem to occur when it’s cold, wet and windy. Anything that helps to get the job done easier and quicker would be most welcome.
Chris Bromwich
Wow, super looking bit of kit, sure outshines my Halford’s repair kit with its flimsy tire leavers. Hope it comes with an instruction manual!
Sue T

Raf
Looks just the ticket for my off-road adventures!
