Bicycle bling – gold coloured multitool up for grabs

crankbrothers bicycle multi tool

Whatever your level of skill where bike maintenance is concerned, it pays to have a multi tool close to hand. And if the device in question boasts gold-coloured anodised parts, so much the better.

The Crank Brothers 19-function multi tool features a durable and lightweight steel and aluminium construction. And with an overall length of less than 9 cm and tipping the scales at 175g, it makes a useful companion whatever the ride.

  • 7 Allen Keys (2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8)
  • 3 Screwdrivers (phillips 1 & 2, flat 2)
  • 2 Torx (T25, T10)
  • 2 Open spanners (8mm, 10mm)
  • 4 Spoke spanners (0, 1, 2, 3)
  • 1 Chain tool (8/9/10-speed compatible)

The multi tool comes in its own stainless steel carrying case.

Environmentally friendly cycle insurance

On the face of it, one cycle insurance policy is much like another, but the devil is the detail. How much excess you will be charged is just one of the things that varies wildly between providers. Another is so called ‘new-for-old’ replacement – many insurers use this term, but if your bicycle is more than a few years old, devalue it severely. This means you are left out of pocket when you come to replace it.

ETA cycle insurance offers a new-for-old for life – however old the bike, if it’s stolen you get enough to buy a new model. Furthermore, every cycle insurance policy you buy from us helps support the work of the ETA Trust, our charity campaigning for a cleaner, safer transport future.

For over 30 years we’ve been provided straightforward, affordable bicycle insurance. Whether you use your bike to commute, shop, race or amble in the park, ETA Cycle Insurance has you covered.

Nice to see a 2.5mm allen key in there; it’s surprising how often that’s left off. Having SRAM Force groupset it’s needed for the front derailleur.

I had something a bit like this, but smaller. Unfortunately, when I was cycling an old tandem back from Chippenham to Oxford, alone, a couple of years back a fairly vital nut and bolt came undone and fell off – to be replaced by the bolt holding the tools together. Since then, the tools seem to have wandered off – so yes please
