When you’re short of space, bicycle storage becomes an exercise in creativity. However, if disguising your bike as a loo roll holder seems a step too far, how about using a bit of wall space?
The Hiplok Jaw is a compact wall-mounted bike rack for storing bicycles, which works just as well inside or out.
The adjustable design fits all popular bicycle types (fits tyre sizes 20mm – 75mm), and can hold bikes in a horizontal or vertical position. Oh, and to safeguard against your housemates commandeering your bike, the Jaw includes a security tie.
Win a Hiplok Jaw
We have two Hiplok Jaws to give away. If you’d like to be in with a chance of winning one simply leave us a message at the bottom of the page and we’ll pick a name next week.
What’s wrong with keeping your bicycle in the shed?
Assuming you have a shed, thieves now target them specifically for the bicycles within and as a result, many cycle insurance companies now insist on a high level of door lock security. Cycle insurance from the ETA has a sympathetic policy towards keeping bicycle sin a shed; you can use any type of lock to secure the door and the bike doesn’t have to be locked while left inside – although if it’s visible through a window you have to cover it with a blanket or similar. Read more about storage requirements.
The ethical choice
The ETA was established in 1990 as an ethical provider of green, reliable travel services. Over 30 years on, we continue to offer cycle insurance, breakdown cover and mobility scooter insurance while putting concern for the environment at the heart of all we do.
The Good Shopping Guide judges us to be the UK’s most ethical provider.

Would be great on the back wall of my garage,
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!
Bill
I’ve already had two bikes and also my saddle, seat-post and rear light stolen (in London). Anything that would help to stop a further (terribly annoying) offence would be most welcomed by me. Keep up the good work. Regards.
Philip Gregg
This looks like the device I have been looking for… a secure ultra compact device to store our two bikes in corridor of a small flat. I’d love to get one thanks to ETA.
Sam Russell
This would save me space in the garden, my current storage solution takes up to much valuable space, need this.
Have a wonderful Christmas people.

This would be the perfect solution to storing our tandem in the garage. I’ve made the space and have been looking for a way to store”Peggy” upright in there and this could just do the trick🤞

I’m lucky enough to have a big garage which became a small garage when my wife suddenly decided to keep her car in it after 8 years of me filling it with bike stuff. I have two wall mounted bikes but a third sad bike that I’d love to use this for

We keep the bikes indoors all next to each other but it would help to have something to mount on the wall.
Johnny
Be grand to help the bike stand
Mark B
Yes please. This would save so much space!

We have four bikes, currently blocking an access – it’s an absolute pain! If this works as well as you say, we’ll be buying another 3 Hiplok Jaws and getting all the bikes off the ground. Here’s hoping this could be the solution to a long-‘standing’ problem 🙂
Steve
I had hip lock-jaw once and it wasn’t very pleasant. Would like to try a Hiplok Jaw instead.
Ms Janet Parry
This would be just the perfect thing for a daughter in her tiny flat

We have a “lean too” against our house so we could use this product there
Clive Probert
Another great idea for bike storage.

My bike is feeling a little lonely sitting in the garage without the car to lean on. The Hiplok Jaw would make a good substitute!!!!!

Have to keep my precious Ti bike in my hall after it suffered sacrificial corrosion of some spokes last winter… space is at a premium, indoors!!
Chris Bromwich
Looks a good solution for storing the bike just as long as there is someone to hold it while the tie-wrap fixing is tightened!
Margaret
Just what I need to fix my precious e-bike in the shed: I bought it for my own use, not anyone else’s!
james
Looks a great idea to pop my cycle out of the way

Phil
Solves the problem

These look to be adjustable for different tyre widths too. They look like a novel way to store my pride and joy.
Thanks.

Perfect solution to fixing wall to bike! I might even buy one if I don’t win.
Steve
I’m hooked on this idea!

Very timely, trying to work out how to store bikes. Not in the kitchen.
David Mayers
Neater than a hook
