Riding a bicycle and popping bubble wrap rank as two of the best stress busters, and now Eric Buss, a man who describes himself as ‘some dude who lives in Los Angeles and travels the world doing funny stuff while people watch’ has combined the two.
However, while bursting the pockets of air by hand evokes the relaxing crackle of an open fire, the bubble wrap bike emits a persistent roar – certainly enough to cut a swathe through rush-hour traffic.
Bubble wrap biking
The idea of using a bicycle to lay your own road surface is a new one and it remains to be seen whether it can find practical application on Britain’s pot-holed lanes.
Insuring a custom bicycle
Most cyclists buy something off the shelf, but insuring a custom bicycle you have built yourself need not be a problem. Especially if you choose the cover from the ETA. After all, we’ve been known to build one or two one-off creations ourselves. The BOND bike , QTvan and Hornster are just some of the custom bikes that we have to our name. Every cycle insurance policy of ours includes theft, accidental damage and vandalism. And if it’s a custom bike, we would love to give you a quote for first-rate cover for your pride and joy.

what’s environmetal about this story?
Andy
I guess it’s just meant to be fun, Jez, not every story has to be about the environment. Made me smile, and that’s gotta be good for the heart, at least 🙂
Dick
This story is an embarrassment – vast amounts of plastic waste. Rubbish in every sense.
