Tunisia travel advice bulletin

Following the terrorist attack in Tunisia, the ETA has issued the following bulletin for its travel insurance customers.

Cancellation cover will not apply as acts of terrorism are excluded in our policy
The foreign office are advising not to travel. However, they tend to err very much on the side of caution and tour operators and airlines continue to operate
If customers are concerned about travelling to Tunisia, they should contact their tour operator, as most agents are rescheduling holidays to alternative destinations, or offering a full refund
If customers have rescheduled their holiday and their dates now differ to those previously booked, then we will honour their travel insurance and amend their trip dates
Journey continuation and delay will be covered for terrorist attacks under an ‘insured event’
