We bought these coloured LED bicycle spoke lights via an advertisement on Twitter and very much on a seasonally-inspired whim (so we can’t vouch for their quality), but if what they promise is true, your bicycle will look every inch the mobile Christmas tree.
According to the packaging, installation is as easy as clipping them to your spokes…and switching them on. Once you reach a speed of 25km/h (about 15mph) 32 individual LED lights rotate fast enough to allow the human eye to work its magic and interpret them as colourful and kaleidoscopic patterns. We have two front and rear sets to giveaway – fit them to your own bike for a flamboyant commute in dreary January or put them under the for a loved one.
Win a set of kaleidoscopic bicycle wheel lights
To be in with a chance of winning a set of these lights, worth £30 each, simply leave us a message below. We will be drawing these prizes on Tuesday 12 December so we can get them to you before Christmas.
An insurance company like no other
Not only are we Britain’s most ethical insurance company, we campaign for sustainable transport. Sometimes that means protesting until a school gets the zebra crossing they’ve been refused, or running 60 roadshows this year to encourage people out of their cars, or fixing bicycles for free. Supporting this work is easy – you simply have to take out cycle insurance with us, cover that just happens to be excellent.
Unlike other insurers we never devalue your bike. And if you ride a carbon bike, rest assured we will never have a cracked frame repaired – we will always replace your bike with a new one. How many other insurers can say that? Find out more
..and it’s not just cycle insurance that we offer. We provide home insurance, cycle insurance, travel insurance and breakdown cover – all while putting concern for the environment at the heart of all we do.

My grandson would be “over the moon” or should that be “somewhere over the rainbow” to have a set of these lights on his bike.
Being only 8 years old he would believe Santa had sent them especially early.

Hi
I fancy making my bike into a pair of Blackpool illuminations 💡
Peter Clark
The only reason I wouldn’t want to win these is because I cycle through Staines to get to Egham on my commute. Bit of a kick in the teeth for poor Mike
Stephen Downing
Why not carry out a long term road test on them and and post a write up, if they prove durable you could sell them to raise funds for the charity.
David
These make Spokey Dokeys look positively steam driven. They might even stop startled squirrels trying to run through my wheels.

ETA is great organising these giveaways, thanks for the opportunity

I think the lights you are giving away are Monkeylectric M232. I already have the 10 LED M210 on one wheel so it would be great to win yours for my other wheel. They give great sideways visibility so that motorists on side roads see you coming.
steve
I would love an early Christmas please ETA.
