Now that both ends of the daily commute are blessed with daylight, you can afford to be a little more flexible in your lighting requirements.
The USB Light is compact and lightweight, but surprisingly bright. It fits all bicycle handlebars and seat posts and is quick and easy to attach with its rubber band. Its large button on the upper side is designed to ensure easy operation, even when wearing gloves.
The light is fitted with a micro USB port for recharging the battery. The indicator on the back of the light will start to flash when the battery is low and even then the light is programmed to hold a constant brightness so you can trust the lights to be bright when you need them.
The USB Light is well-suited to British summertime cycling – it’s weather resistant.
Win yourself a set of USB Lights
We have a set of USB lights worth £34 to give away. Leave us a comment at the bottom of this page and we will pick a winner next week.
Ethical cycle insurance
On the face of it, one cycle insurance policy is much like another, but the devil is the detail. Check your small print for so-called ‘new-for-old’ replacement – many insurers use the term, but if your bicycle is more than a few years old, devalue it severely. This means you are left out of pocket when you come to replace it.
With ETA cycle insurance, however old the bike, if it’s stolen you get enough to buy a new model. Furthermore, every cycle insurance policy you buy from us helps support the work of the ETA Trust, our charity campaigning for a cleaner, safer transport future. Little wonder The Good Shopping Guide has voted us Britain’s most ethical insurance company.

Small enough to fit into pocket, in case the return ride takes a little longer than planned.
Paul
Yes please!
Angus
Thank you…Just what I’m looking for!
Charlotte
Cute yellow! 🙂 x
Stephen Davies
Looks like a great design. Fingers crossed. THANKS AGAIN TO ETA FOR THE OPPORTUNITY!
Gillian Watling
I really like the idea of daytime lights. It can get rather murky out there in “daylight”, even in a UK summer! The more we do as cyclists to improve our visibility, the better.
Mark
Very nice, I particularly like the large buttons as I really struggle switching my current lights on and off in gloves.
Mark
Craig Young
PLEASE brighten up my life ETA? 🙂
THANKS
STEVO
“Before you, Bookman USB lights, my life was like a moonless night…..”.

Paul
Be safe, be seen.

It is time Bicycles like other road user had Lights as part of the design of the Bike and integrated in. You would not buy a car or any other road vehicle that came with no lights. I would love to try a pair of these please. many thanks
Aidan
Nice lights!
Carol W
Shining bright and rechargeable too. Excellent.
Su Gilroy

Steve McKelvey
These will certainly help to be seen on my commute to and from work in Kent

Why should the cars have all the mod con’s with daytime running lights, now it’s my turn with this bright idea.
DougMilly
These should give some light entertainment, as well as improving my safety!
Lance Woodman

Roger Birchall
Would be great for the Wife’s bike, I could then see her on her way home at the top of the road, it would give me just enough time to tidy up!!!
Sheila Mosley
ETA shows an all-round interest in us and the planet, thank you
TD
Stick them in a pocket & then light the way for me. 😊
Gavin
Essential so as not to be murdered on the road by a “sorry I didn’t see you” type.
Al Reed
Nice little supplementary light set
Jamie Johnson
Simply brilliant…
LF
Nice and cool lights. Personally bikes should have lights on in day as it would make us more visible (why do u think motorbikes/mopeds have their lights on in the day sometimes for same reason as a motorbike is basically a bike with a engine) and hopefully prevent a few close calls 😜
Ian
Tiny rechargeable lights are great as spares or to keep in a pocket.
Rebecca
Smart design for the smart cyclist.
Jane collier
Great to have something small and convenient to keep in a pocket so you’re never without lights

Peter Clark
Be good for my MTB which my lad takes to work. Easy to put on and take off for his short commute
Darren C
Just what I need to get me commuting to the office by bike again.
Mark B
I don’t wear gloves in the summer because it’s always hot but I’d still like to give these a try!
Arnold
Where can I buy them from ?
I am not lucky enough to win them.
The last time I won something I was unable to drink it and could not take it back to accommodation as was not allowed due to Royal Navy regulations, when I next visited Pub someone had removed my prize a bottle of wine….
Julie Anne Gardner
Just what my brother needs for his cycle after being knocked off & left injured on the ground.
I would love to give him these lights as added security when he rides to work in the evening.

Chris
Great on the dual carriageway I use on the way home most nights
Colin Bull
Perfect upgrade from my Lidl lights 🙂
Howard Cheesman
No Street Lights where I live – just the stars, so these would be a great addition to their atmospheric but faint luminescence. Did I also mention no cycle paths or cycle lanes either, but lots of cars, lorries and agricultural vehicles who don’t always see me!
Gordon May
Easy enough for the kids not to forget them by keeping them in a pocket.
Ünal Aksoy
Bookman kim kazandı.
