Inside cycle storage by stealth

Bicycle stand with light

How best to convince the rest of your household that storing a bicycle inside your house or flat makes absolute sense?

We think a stealthy approach works best. Vadolibero makes a valiant case by disguising its handlebar-shaped revolving bike stand as a 5,500 lumen dimmer light, but at £1,725 it’s not cheap.

Our own idea is altogether more affordable. Free loo roll holder anyone?

Ethical cycle insurance

On the face of it, one cycle insurance policy is much like another, but the devil is the detail. The ETA has a sympathetic policy towards storage, covers quick release components (with no requirement to lock them individually)and has a true ‘new-for-old’ replacement policy – many insurers use the term, but if your bicycle is more than a few years old, devalue it severely. This means you are left out of pocket when you come to replace it.

With ETA cycle insurance, however old the bike, if it’s stolen you get enough to buy a new model. Furthermore, every cycle insurance policy you buy from us helps support the work of the ETA Trust, our charity campaigning for a cleaner, safer transport future. Little wonder The Good Shopping Guide has voted us Britain’s most ethical insurance company.

Now that’s what I call steep.

For roughly the same price as a stealth bomber! But good looking…

Wow for that price you could get a lot of bike… I remember there used to be a place you could buy a loo roll holder made from old bike parts – the quick release skewer was quite practical!
